Retrievable Bridge Plug
※ Introduction
The removable bridge plug is a downhole sealing tool used in oil fields. Mainly composed of sealing, anchoring, sealing and other parts. The self locking structure adopted has a reliable bidirectional pressure bearing function, which can achieve reliable sealing without the need for an overlying ash surface. The cable sealing tool or oil pipe hydraulic sealing tool can be used to send the removable bridge plug into the sealing, which can be unsealed, recycled, and reused when needed. It can be used in conjunction with other downhole tools for temporary sealing, long-term sealing, selective sealing, non well killing operations, and ash injection operations. The removable bridge plug can completely replace the release+packer, drillable bridge plug, and ash injection sealing in terms of function. It is a reliable, low-cost, fully functional, and widely applicable downhole sealing tool.
※ Basic Principles
Sealing: Use a cable (or oil pipe) to transport the removable bridge plug to the predetermined position underground and calibrate the depth. Connect the cable to the power supply, ignite the gunpowder column sent into the tool by the bridge plug, generate high-temperature and high-pressure gas, and force the piston of the sealing tool to move relative to the core shaft (when the oil pipe is sent into the sealing tool, use a pump truck to apply internal pressure to the oil pipe on the ground to complete this action), push the bridge plug card to bite the inner wall of the sleeve, and compress the bridge plug rubber cylinder to seal the annular space of the oil sleeve. At the same time, the internal structure of the bridge plug is self-locking, the tension rod (ring) is pulled off, and the sealing tool is lifted out of the wellhead along with the cable (or oil pipe). The bridge plug is firmly stuck in the predetermined position underground.
Unsealing: Use a specialized unsealing tool to insert the oil pipe, grab the bridge plug to release the sealing sleeve, lift the pipe column up, release the bridge plug from self-locking, shrink the rubber cylinder, and retract the slip into the slip cylinder. The bridge plug is unsealed, and its assembly comes out with the oil pipe.
